WHAT TO EXPECT
Initial Consultation
Your initial consultation is up to 75 minutes. During this visit we discuss all of your health concerns, explore your health history, complete a physical assessment, determine any testing required, set your health goals and begin to formulate your individualized treatment plan. Upon booking your initial intake your will receive a welcome email detailing everything you need to do before your first visit. This includes completing and submitting your intake forms through your patient portal. You will also be reminded to bring any supplements, medications, and diagnostic results you have to help build a more sound foundation for your treatment plan.
Follow-Up Visits
Follow-up visits monitor your health. These visits are 20-60 minutes depending on your needs. Your first follow up appointment is up to 60 minutes. We will review any new information or changes in your health and implement your full treatment plan. Further follow-up appointments are typically up to 40 minutes and will take place according to your unique needs. They will be used to monitor your progress, make adjustments to your plan, implement further treatment steps, and complete any hands on treatment such as acupuncture.
Insurance
Most extended health care plans provide coverage for Naturopathic care. It is not covered by OHIP. Contact your insurance provided to check your coverage.
