MATERNITY LEAVE

Dr. Nisbet will be away on maternity leave from January 2024 to late Summer 2024. During this time the wonderful Dr Sofia Yevko and Dr Tina Canto will be caring for Dr Nisbet’s patients.

Dr Yevko will be in caring for patients in Tottenham, and Dr Canto will be caring for patients in Aurora and virtually.

During Dr Nisbet’s leave, appointments can be scheduled with Dr. Yevko and Dr Canto and through our online booking page or by contacting the clinics directly.

If you are a new or current patient and prefer to wait for Dr. Nisbet to return before beginning or continuing your care please join the waitlist. You will be contacted to schedule your appointment based on when you join the waitlist and as availability allows.

Dr Sofia Yevko

Availability:

Mondays (Tottenham): 9:30am-2:00pm

Thursdays (Tottenham): 11:00am-6:00pm

Dr. Sofia Yevko, ND is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor who is passionately committed to helping people with their health and wellness goals. She has a passion for mental health, metabolic health, and hormonal concerns. This includes but is not limited to conditions such as anxiety, insulin resistance, and PCOS. She utilizes tools such as lifestyle guidance (including nutrition and stress management), supplements, botanical medicine, acupuncture, cupping and homeopathy.

Respect, active listening, and open, honest communication are important to Dr Yevko. She strives to ensure that you feel heard and understood. Her aim is to educate and empower her patients, providing them with a deeper understanding of their health.

Dr Tina Canto

Mondays (Aurora): 2:00pm-6:00pm

Thursdays (Virtual): 9:00am-12:00pm

Dr. Tina Canto, ND is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor who has always been passionate about health and wellness. She is fascinated by the complexity and resilience of the human body, and looks forward to educating patients about health and wellness, while contributing to a community where people can feel comfortable exploring their own health. Dr Canto has a special interests in gut and skin health, hormonal health, endocrine health, fertility concerns, sports medicine, and pain management.

Dr Canto was drawn to naturopathic medicine’s special focus on individualized care. Everyone is different and treatments should reflect that! Our diversity is something to be valued, appreciated, and celebrated.
